Hotel Corano, a charming and welcoming 3-star hotel with 30 years of experience, is found in the heart of the Maremma region of Tuscany, and is literally immersed in green thanks to the surrounding rolling hills, olive trees, and vineyards. The zone, very close to Pitigliano and other richly historic centres, archaeological monuments, and delicious gastronomical itineraries, offers panoramic views and the ideal setting for relaxation during sportive vacations (hiking, horse-back riding and biking) or cultural vacations (tours of the Antique Etruria and medieval villages).
...On the ruins of an antique medieval village
The hotel derives its name from the zone in which it rests, "Corano", which in turn comes from the name of an antique medieval castle. The hotel offers spaces which are simple yet well looked after, with modern facilities.
The restaurant is excellent, and while including traditional Italian fare, its speciality rests in the dishes of the Maremma region, like, 'Buglione', 'L'Acquacotta', 'Tortelli di Ricotta', and grilled meats.

An entire floor of our Hotel has been recently refurbished, offering in all of the 31 rooms: a bathroom, telephone, and TV. There are various spacious common areas: the bar (cafè), the parlour and reading rooms, two dining rooms, breakfast room and external dining room, the pool, and a private parking lot.
